Spain Golden Visa
In September 2013, the Spanish government passed a law to encourage Non EU citizens to invest for residency purposes. The Golden Visa scheme allows residency for anyone investing over 500.000 Euros in a property in Spain. This visa grants the main applicant and their beneficiaries the right to reside in Spain and travel in Europe.
Golden Visa Benefits
- Obtain residency within 3 months
- Visa-free travel within the Schengen Zone
- Include dependent children (up to 18) and parents
- Eligible for permanent residency after 5 years
- Eligible for citizenship available after 10 years
- No tax on global income if resident for less than 183 days
Qualification Requirements
- Available for non EU citizens
- Minimum property investment of €500,000
- Have no previous criminal conviction
- Must have private health insurance
- Renew visa end of year 1, 3 and 5
- No minimum stay requirements
